“Conflicting objectives”
The current administration is making a very big political deal out of its “commitment” to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and slowing the relentless pace of climate change.
It is a noble goal that deserves to be supported. There is only one problem.
This same administration also makes a very big political deal out of its “commitment” to facilitate the “entitlement” of all on Earth who wish to reside in the United States and take advantage of our many taxpayer-funded rights to do so.
Reliable estimates place the total influx of legal / illegal migrants since January 1 at over 2 million, and growing. This leads to a logical conundrum that exists outside of moral / political judgments.
It is physically impossible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and simultaneously wipe out the equivalent of one new Chicago from the earth every year, indefinitely, while maintaining the current standard of living and rights of the United States. .
The only way to achieve these two conflicting goals is for the standard of living and carbon footprint of over 99% of the American population to reach third world levels.
So, yes, greenhouse gas emissions will decrease even if the population increases.
Sadly, this will create the same levels of poverty that millions of people are now trying to flee the southern border of the United States. They obviously did not understand the new slogan “own nothing and be happy”.
Watch carefully how this transformation will be accomplished. Benefit from the carefully crafted narratives we will fuel by the government / business media cabal as we dutifully march toward global “fairness”.
Fasten your seat belts. Let’s go for a crazy race! But we voted for it.
Have we not.

Mailbox thief
Several years ago there was a small blue wall mounted mailbox for outgoing mail in Nanawale mailboxes.
One day it was there and the next day it had been torn from the support beam. Now we have more floor mounted letterboxes with clusters on a plinth that are screwed to a beam.
Obviously, someone has a mailbox fetish and is ready to steal the newest cluster of mailboxes closest to the bus stop.
It is only a federal crime. If they managed to take it, what would they do with it? Trying to sell it in a local market?
