Watch: Harvey Elliott scores ridiculous goal from inside his half in training
Liverpool Lender Harvey Elliott Made His Best David Beckham Impression during a recent training session for Blackburn Rovers.
Elliott is considered one of the most exciting young prospects in English football and has joined the Championship squad on a season-long loan deal in search of regular first-team football.
The 17-year-old has scored five goals and 10 assists in 31 appearances in all competitions and already seems ready for the Premier League.
“He’s just a fantastic talent,” Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray told The Athletic in February. “He’s 17, but there’s 17 and 17 and Harvey is amazing.
“It’s inconceivable to me that in five years he will still be in his twenties and that he could have played 250 games by then. What a joy he is. He loves the ball; can’t get enough.
“And you can’t take him off the training ground. When he plays a game and practices the next day, guys who haven’t been involved can play a little game and Harvey just wants to join in on him.
“He’s still on the grass; so much that I have to keep sending it. It’s an amazing attitude he has. He helps us, helps our team and hopefully we help Liverpool develop a player and we help Harvey. As far as I know, everyone wins.
The winger showed his skills in training, picking up the ball on the left wing before spotting the goalkeeper out of his line.
He then attempted a bold strike from over 50 yards, chipping the keeper and sending the ball into the net.
