Pokemon Go events for November 2021: raids, Día de Muertos event and more

November is almost here and it’s going to be packed with things to do for Pokemon Go players. The mobile game is hosting a variety of activities over the coming weeks, including new raids, November Community Day, and a Día de Muertos event. On top of that, the game will also host an event to celebrate the upcoming launch of Pokemon Shiny Diamond and Shiny Pearl. Here’s a look at all of the biggest events taking place in Pokemon Go in November 2021.

Breakthrough Research Meeting November: Vullaby

Pokemon Go Field Research tasks and rewards will update on November 1, and there will be a new Research Discovery encounter. Whenever you achieve a Research Breakthrough in November, you will gain a chance to catch the Dark / Flying Pokemon Vullaby.

To achieve a breakthrough in in-game research, you must first collect seven stamps. You will earn a stamp for the first Field Research task you complete each day, so you will need to complete tasks over at least seven days to achieve a Research Breakthrough. Día de los Muertos event

Pokemon Go kicks off November with a Día de los Muertos event from November 1-2. Throughout the event, the following Pokémon will appear in the wild more frequently than usual:

  • Cube
  • Depressed
  • Sunflore
  • Murkrow
  • Houndour
  • Sableye
  • Roselia
  • Floating
  • Yamask

In addition to the featured Pokémon appearances, there will be field research tasks to complete, as well as various in-game bonuses. All players will earn twice the usual amount of Stardust for catching Pokémon during the game. event, and the incense and decoy modules will remain active for 90 minutes. Latin American and Caribbean players will also be able to take advantage of the following additional bonuses:

  • 1 bonus transfer candy
  • Featured Event Pokemon Will Spawn In The Wild More Frequently
  • Featured Event Pokemon Will Be More Frequently Attracted To Lure Mods And Incense

Finally, players will be able to claim a free event pack containing 20 Poke Balls and one Incense, as well as a free Día de Muertos avatar t-shirt. The event runs until 8 p.m. local time on November 2.

The legendary raids of November

After Darkrai Leaving Five Star Raids on November 5, the legendary Swords of Justice – Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion – will return to the game until November 16. Each Pokemon will experience the attack of the Holy Sword, and there is a chance that you will encounter shiny versions of them. After the trio leave the raids, the legendary Pokémon Cresselia will return from November 16 to December 1

November Mega Raids

Pokemon Go’s mega raids will also be refreshed next month. After Mega Absol leaves the rotation on November 5, Mega Manectric will appear until November 16. After that, Mega Lopunny will return until December 1.

November 2021 Community Day

Pokémon Go November Community Day will take place on Sunday November 21. This month’s featured Pokémon is Shinx, and it will appear in-game more frequently from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in your local time zone. Additionally, any Luxio you evolve into Luxray during the event will learn the new Psychic-Type Charged Attack Psychic Fangs, and Pokémon Eggs will hatch at a quarter of the distance they normally require.

November Pokémon Spotlight Hours

Every Tuesday night, Pokemon Go hosts a Spotlight Hour event from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. During this hour, a certain Pokémon will appear in the wild much more frequently, and you will be able to enjoy a special in-game bonus like increased XP or candy for catching Pokémon. November 9

  • Spotlight on Pokémon: Chinchou
  • Spotlight Bonus: 2x Transfer Candy

  • Spotlight Bonus: 2x Stardust capture

23 november

  • Spotlight on Pokémon: Chimchar
  • Spotlight Bonus: 2x XP capture

November 30

  • Spotlight on Pokémon: Piplup
  • Spotlight Bonus: 2x Catch Candy

Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl Event

November 19 marks the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl for the Nintendo Switch, and Pokemon Go is celebrating their launch with a special event from November 16 to 21. More details will be announced later.
