Piers Morgan warns Katie Price it’s ‘heartbreaking’ to watch her ‘self-destruct’
Never one to hold back, Piers Morgan told Katie Price exactly how he feels about his current lifestyle. The former Good Morning Britain presenter has addressed the mum-of-five via an open letter – begging her to ‘wake up’ for the sake of her children
Piers Morgan has warned Katie Price to ‘manage her own way’ as she ‘spirals into ‘self-destruction’.
The journalist and TV personality penned some brutally candid words for the former glamorous model in an open letter addressed to her from her uncensored column for The Sun.
He confessed that after 20 years as a friend, he “can’t bite his tongue anymore”.
He told the mother-of-five: “You’re outspoken like me, so let me be brutally blunt: you’re spiraling completely out of control, and it’s not going to end well if you don’t wake up the f **k until damn sharp and pull yourself together.”
The often outspoken commentator went on and even quoted Pricey herself who once confessed, “My middle name is Drama,” before listing the long list of disasters she’s encountered.
He went on to list Katie’s recent alleged dramas – including her bankrupt status, past drug use, ‘endless new plastic surgeries’ and recent reports where she was ‘accused of repeatedly cheating your bride”.
“The shocking car accident you suffered last September, which almost cost you your life, should have been the moment to throw yourself into reality.”
Piers explained the additional turmoil in Katie’s life as he expressed relief that she survived before lashing out at her for her senseless and life-threatening behavior after getting behind the wheel while banned and under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
But sympathy was rare from Piers as he hoped – like many of his fans – that she would come up against the bend.
Piers went on with his scathing rant condemning her for paying money on a £179,000 bespoke pink Ferrari – which, incidentally, she cannot legally drive.
He added: “To be frank: I don’t want to wake up to news even worse than your horror.
“And neither have your five children, to whom you have been a wonderful mother between all this chaos.”
And although Piers offered harsh realities to KP, he praised his parenthood for which he admitted to having immense admiration, especially with his son Harvey.
He explained: “I also greatly admire your tender and loving care for your severely disabled son Harvey.”
But he continued: “But right now I’m having a hard time congratulating you on anything because everything you do and say these days smacks of someone jumping the shark off a amusing artist to an embarrassing shipwreck.”
He signed the letter sharing a photo of the pair in an old set up interview, saying, “WAKE UP, Katie.
“Don’t do it for me – do it for your children.”
